Hand-holding Services with Angèle

Bonjour! I’m Angèle, and for the past 3 years, I’ve been supporting individuals like you with the maze of French administration. Having lived in England, I understand the challenges of adapting to a new country and trust me, I know the feeling of being lost in the labyrinth of French paperwork! (Canterbury, I miss you dearly!)

But fret not, my experience and understanding of the French system have equipped me to help you settle seamlessly into the French way of life. Here are some practical tips I’ve gathered along the way:

📚 Document Savvy: Hold onto every piece of paperwork and invoice in either physical or PDF form—trust me, you’ll need them.

📞 Go Local: Grab a French phone number to ensure smooth communication with French administration and deliveries of goods. It’s a game-changer!

💳 Bank on It: Open a French bank account for easy bill payments and to get a French IBAN – it will certainly streamline transactions.

📝 Keep Records: Hold onto your utility bills as they play a crucial role in establishing your residence for various French official documents like your driving license or CDS.

🏥 Health First: Request a “feuille de soin” until you obtain a French social security number (or receive your Carte Vitale). It will save you some hassle and help with refunds.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Support: If you have children, research the various family benefits available in France, such as the “allocation de rentrée scolaire” and “allocations familiales,” to ensure you’re making the most of the support system.

🎒 Education Insight: If you have school-age children, get familiar with the French education system and the necessary paperwork for school enrolment. Understanding this process early on can alleviate stress later.

If these tips feel overwhelming, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to simplify the process for you.

Oh, and by the way, my quotes are always free. Let’s make your transition to France as smooth as possible and make you feel like home!

    Hi Angéle

We have arrived in France and I would be grateful to receive a quote to assist with setting up National Insurance numbers and registration of a UK vehicle. Is this in your remit?

I am trying to find out about applying for French Nationality on behalf of my son who is 17. We have lived in france since 2012. Max has been through the French school system since he was 5. He has a brevet diploma and is now studying for his Bac. Me and my husband are British nationals and have carte de séjours. Max was born in the UK and has a British passport. I am trying to find someone to support him with his application. Is this something that you do and if not are you able to put me in touch with someone who can

    Good Afternoon,
    I hope you can help.
Our neighbour, who is French, had an English partner, who sadly passed away today in the hospital in Le Dorat. Her family are in the UK and do not speak french. As she was not married to our neighbour, he can’t sign for anything. There will be a funeral to organize and also a house to sell. Just to add to the situation the family are not close, in the emotional sense.
Is this something you could help with, if so can I pass you details on to her son?
